I too have been going to Debi for years because she is the best. I get many compliments on my hair and even perfect strangers will ask me who cuts it. I followed her from Paia to Makawao and her new salon is really nice - open, airy, and very attractive. Located upstairs behind the Makawao Steakhouse and Viewpoints Gallery. Very highly recommended.
As for the cut, I brought a picture for reference, but she referred to it very rarely. I am not very pleased with the completed haircut.

I was looking to find a new hair stylist, and I read the reviews for Debi's Cuts & Color, and I thought I would try the place out. Well... It was okay.
When I first walked in (after making an appointment over the phone) I thought the studio was quirky and cute. However, it seemed a bit unprofessional; Debi was eating her lunch, and then washed her plate in the same sink that she washes customers hair in!
