I earned so much about Pineapple and that just picked Pineapple is so incredibly juicy and sweet. I never really liked Pineapple, but now I know why I never liked them! At least I live on the West Coast can can order Pineapple from this company!
Pineapple tour was great - informative and interesting although they gave a bit of a BS story with something called "precocious pineapple." Pineapple was delicious. The distillery tour is also great, but lacking in regards to the tasting at the end. Only water is available for a pallet cleanse - no snacks and you're tasting hard liquor.
If you are in Maui this is a very unique experience and was something I really enjoyed.
During the tour I went on we tasted pineapples of 3 different stages of life. Since pineapples don't ripen after they are cut you got to have some Pineapples which are very different than anything you have ever had before. We tried some which would be the ripeness people are traditionally uses to. We tried some which were the ripeness locals purchase in Hawaiian markets. He also cut Pineapples which were at the the peak of ripeness and only good for a handful of days longer.
One f the few (if not the only) active pineapple fields in the united states. It was a really unique experience as I haven't seen anything like it anywhere else in the USA. The tour was fantastic and they walked us through the entire process of tiny plant to full blown pineapple.
A must if you are in Maui! Mike was an amazing guide! The fields are beautiful and the story behind the process it's very interesting for all. We brought our 5 and 11 year old and both enjoyed the experience very much! The pineapple itself AMAZING! No joke the best I've ever had! Sweet and juicy. You sample them right out on the field and get to take one home!
Amazingly funny, informative and got to pick our own pineapple straight from the field and eat it straight away. Do not miss this when you are on Maui!
